Moonrise Over Antarctica

In collecting images for Antarctica, selecting the "iconic" proves oddly difficult.

Ice, seals, penguins, birds: the stereotypical abound.

However their abundance does nothing to diminish their power. A stereotype it may be on one level - and at the same time shattering on the next.
